Gutting the dash and making it look pretty

 
 

 

 

 

  This is the dash and wiring at the beginning of the project... Looks pretty shitty to me.  
   
   
  Here is the start of a very long project. I think pulling the dash out was one of the best parts, as you can see from how bent up it is. :-)  
  A mess of cables is shown after the ugly dash is removed...  
  This is a dry fit of the dash after I cut out all of the initial holes. Yes, the dash started as one rectangular piece of fiberglass before I started cutting away... It takes a lot of patience to cut out perfect circles by hand.  
  The dash final has a primer coat and the gauges are installed. I had to take it out as it neared 80 degrees in March (that is insane, but I enjoyed the early ride.)  
  The dash finally starts to get some switches, aircraft style switches that is.  
  The dash has it final coats of paint... Isn't it pretty.  
  Finally the dash is complete... The only thing that I added after this was the passenger grab bar, which was being repainted at the time.
